1 Jul 2009 – HashCheck Shell Extension version 2.1.11

HashCheck Shell Extension version 2.1.11 has been released with support for Russian and Ukrainian locales, as well as a bug fix for users of Total Commander on versions of Windows prior to Vista.

26 Jun 2009 – Modified build of Notepad2, version 4.0.22-beta1

A new version of my modified Notepad2 build has been released, based on version 4.0.22-beta1. Significant improvements have also been made to the usability of the code folding feature.

22 Jun 2009 – Updates: Notepad2 3.1.21, HashCheck 2.1.10, and CmdOpen 2.0.2

A new version of my modified Notepad2 build has been released, based on 3.1.21-Final and the latest version of Scintilla. Improvements have also been made to the code folding patch, and Notepad2's Recent jump list will now populate correctly on Windows 7.

HashCheck Shell Extension version 2.1.10 has been released, with a new Dutch translation and better taskbar grouping on Windows 7.

Open Command Prompt Shell Extension version 2.0.2 introduces support for Romanian systems.

Open Command Prompt Shell Extension

The Open Command Prompt Shell Extension adds an "Open Command Prompt" menu item to the context menus (right-click menus) in Windows Explorer so that you can open a command prompt in the selected directory (or directories) or in the current directory that you are viewing.

The Open Command Prompt Shell Extension is very lightweight, supports network paths, is available in multiple languages, and is open-source.

HashCheck Shell Extension

The HashCheck Shell Extension makes it easy for anyone to calculate and verify checksums and hashes from Windows Explorer. In addition to integrating file checksumming functionality into Windows, HashCheck can also create and verify SFV files (and other forms of checksum files, such as .md5 files).

It is fast and efficient, with a very light disk and memory footprint, and it is open-source.

ClassicFox

ClassicFox is a Firefox/Thunderbird extension that fixes the appearance of the default Firefox/Thunderbird theme in Windows Classic. Specifically, it restores menus to the classic style, it restores the missing bevels (outlines) on toolbar buttons that have dropmarkers, and, in Firefox 3, it restores the Classic bevel to the address bar and search box. ClassicFox is customizable, and users can choose which of these "fixes" to enable.

NoRedirect

NoRedirect is a Firefox/SeaMonkey extension that lets the user take control of HTTP redirects. It can be used to interdict an ISP's DNS search redirection hijacks, preview/screen "shortened" URLs, stop the annoying redirection of "smart" error pages, etc.

Flexible and customizable, NoRedirect puts an end to the usability nuisances of redirects, such as the inability to correct mistakes in the address bar, without affecting legitimate, useful redirects.

QuickDrag

QuickDrag is a Firefox/SeaMonkey extension that extends the function of the drag-and-drop mouse gesture so that it can be used to load URLs, do a web search of selected text on a page, or save an image on a page—all with a simple drag-and-drop.

URL Flipper

URL Flipper is a Firefox/SeaMonkey extension that allows you to easily increment or decrement a portion of a URL without having to manually edit the text in the Location Bar.
