This fallback font is used only if the user has not selected a custom font and the primary default font (Consolas) is not available.

The version displayed is the version currently in use, which, in some instances, may not necessarily be the version installed on the system. This is because after installing a new version of HashCheck over an old version, Windows will continue to use the old version that had already been loaded into memory until you log off and log back on (this is how Windows treats all shell extensions).
